Managing ‘My Profile’

In ‘My Profile’ you can make changes to your name, email address, notification preferences, and other personal account information. You can also change the password for your ClearPoint account.

From anywhere in ClearPoint, click on the profile icon in the upper right corner. It will have your initials or your photo if you have one set. Choose Edit Profile from the dropdown menu.

On the Profile tab of this window, you can edit your First and Last Name and Email Address. Your Email Address will be used as your username to log into your ClearPoint account. If you want notifications sent to an email address other than the one you use to login, enter it in the Notification Email field. If you do not provide a valid email address, ClearPoint will stop trying to send you emails and a red banner will display that says “We were unable to send email to this user.”

Other items you can fill out on the Profile tab include: your Supervisor (if they are a ClearPoint user), Phone Number, Department, Time Zone, and Profile Photo. If you want to have a profile photo automatically pulled in for you, just set up a Gravatar. Otherwise, you can drag and drop the image you would like to use into the Profile Photo field, or click the field and select it from your computer. We recommend using an image with a minimum of 125 x 125 dimensions.

Under the Notification Email Settings dropdown menu, select one of the three options for receiving email notifications. For more information on configuring your notifications, see this article: Notification options.

On the Security tab, you can reset your password by following the instructions in the Resetting password in the ‘My Profile’ section of this article.

On the Scorecards and Home tab, you can manage your home page. To learn more about setting your home page, see Setting your home page in ClearPoint.

Once you’ve finished managing your profile, make sure to click Save.
