Renaming a default field
In ClearPoint, there are default fields associated with each element. This includes things like ‘description,’ ‘analysis,’ ‘parent,’ etc. These can be renamed if your organization calls them something else.
To edit default fields, open System Settings and click on Admin Options.
Click on Default Fields. A new window will open.
Click the tab for the element that corresponds to the field you would like to edit. You will see all the different fields you can give a custom label. Type in a new name for any default field under Custom Label. In the example, the Objective Owner field name is being changed to ‘Primary Reporter.’ Once you are finished changing default field names, click Save.
