Objectives Matrix

This matrix displays your OKR objectives, their analysis, as well as supporting information for each associated key result. The information displayed for the OKR key results includes the owner of the key result, the percent of progress completed, conversations, feedback, and recognition to celebrate your team. This matrix is a great way to view all the necessary information for your organization’s OKRs. From this matrix, a user can also drill down into any objective or supporting key results to view a detail page. On that detail page, a user can find more specific information on that OKR element.

Key Results Status Snapshot

While an objective matrix is helpful to get necessary information all in one place, a Key Results Status Snapshot, like the one above, can also be used to allow your team to quickly understand your overall progress. This view allows your team to see how many key results are above or below target. In general, this status snapshot offers a more high-level view while the matrix view offers more context on each specific key result.

Legend

On this page, users can also find a legend defining the OKR status indicators. This allows users to easily understand why some key results or objectives may be doing well and why others may not. With ClearPoint, your team can enable automatic status indicators to remove any bias in your strategy reporting. Automatic status indicators update in real-time as your OKRs progress is updated.

Key Elements for OKR Dashboards

• High-level visualization of an organization's status snapshot A status snapshot will allow immediate insight into the number and percentage of key results that are Above Target, in the Caution range, and Below Plan. This is helpful in quickly allowing your team to see performance on the aggregate across all key results.
• Overview matrix listing objectives and key results The overview matrix is a critical component of an OKR dashboard as it gives any viewer the ability to see objectives that may be falling behind, and further provides a clear understanding of why it may be falling behind based on the status and progress of the contributing key results. The conversation, feedback and recognition fields not only allow for a dialogue between managers and employees, but give the viewer further insight into performance and what will be done going forward to drive improvement.
• Defined legend on status indicators Having a defined legend that clearly assigns a numeric value or range of values to specific status indicators will allow any viewers that are less intimately involved to understand how performance is being evaluated.
