Sales Manager

ClearPoint is a fast-growing SaaS company that is changing the way organizations manage strategy. We’ve built a great product, developed strong inbound lead flow, and now we’re looking for someone to take our sales team to the next level. This is a perfect position for someone with 3-5 years of experience managing a sales team, who is now looking for an opportunity to take a leadership role to build a sales organization.

As a Sales Manager, you have the unique opportunity to craft a sales organization that is both responsive and responsible. At ClearPoint, we don’t believe in pushy or intrusive sales tactics – and neither should you. We believe the sales team plays a key role in developing long-term relationships with customers who love ClearPoint.

That being said, we’re looking for you to challenge our assumptions and push us. As the leader of the sales team, you will work closely with the founders and the marketing team to help us figure out what we need to do differently. You will be responsible for creating a strategy for building our sales team. And then you will execute on it.

So, what would you do here?

In this role, you will need to:

  • Become an expert in identifying challenges that our prospective customers face and offering a partnership and solution
  • Get to know our clients (and why they love us), our software (and its awesome features), and our prospects (we have a lot!)
  • Provide web-based demos and lead calls with prospective clients
  • Reimagine our sales process, using your experience and the knowledge gained about our customers and product
  • Work with the leadership and marketing teams to improve and manage our process of moving prospects down the sales funnel
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for ClearPoint’s products and solutions

Skills and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing sales at a B2B SaaS company
  • Enterprise level experience, and interactions with C-level stakeholders
  • Quantitative track record of growing enterprise level accounts
  • Exceptional communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to define client strategy and execute against the plan
  • Track record of upselling and cross-selling an array of relevant solutions based on client need
  • Proactive customer support resolution expertise

Marketing Associate

This is a perfect position for someone with 1-3 years of marketing experience who is looking to help a B2B SaaS company take their marketing to the next level in the Washington, DC, area. As a Marketing Associate, you will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to bring in new leads and educate them about our product, eventually handing them off to the sales team as sales qualified leads. You’ll help us manage and execute on our marketing campaigns, analyze the leads we get, and use the data to optimize campaigns going forward. You don’t need to be an expert in design but be ready to contribute to the creation of marketing collaterals.

So, what would you do here?

In this role, you will need to:

  • Get us high quality leads and educate them about our product and company
  • Create, manage and analyze marketing campaigns including email, video, paid and more
  • Help design marketing collaterals including brochures, case studies and offers
  • Optimize campaigns to increase the quality of leads
  • Manage HubSpot, our inbound marketing platform
  • Stay up to date on marketing best practices and work with the marketing team to develop and execute on our entire marketing strategy
  • Manage our website content to ensure it’s up to date as the industry and our product evolves
  • Create marketing content and strategy for our annual summit and other events we host and attend

  • 1-3 years of inbound marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • Understanding of inbound marketing and sales

Associate Consultant

This is a perfect entry-level position for a recent college graduate with great organizational skills looking for a job at a technology startup with proven technology, a growing customer base, and strong financial footing. We are a small company, which will allow you to participate meaningfully in the management and direction of the company, while also gaining great experience on large scale projects with a global impact. Small company. Huge responsibilities and opportunities. Expect to hit the ground running. We are getting slammed with new work, so you will need to learn on-the-job. Our software focuses on organization wide performance management and management reporting. We help organizations track their measures and projects against their strategic goals. Organizations do this in a variety of ways including using Balanced Scorecards and dashboards. ClearPoint is extremely customizable, and clients reach out with questions about the software as well as about best practices in performance management.

Account Executive

This is a perfect position for someone with 2-5 years of sales experience who is looking for their next sales opportunity with a great SaaS company in the Washington, DC, area. As an Account Executive, you will benefit from inbound leads as well as research within verticals to find prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify opportunities. You will run online demos of the ClearPoint software and successfully sell the ClearPoint value proposition. Target clients will largely consist of — but will not be limited to – municipalities, state agencies, banks, utilities, healthcare organizations, and mid to large sized businesses. This role is an inside sales position working in our Arlington, VA office and could require travel of up to 25%.

Full-Stack Software Developer

This is a perfect position for someone who is enjoys working will all kinds of technologies: database servers, application servers, firewalls, CSS, JS, Angular, just to name a few. And someone who’s interested in a breakthrough opportunity with a great startup in the Atlanta area. We’ve got a solid product, great customers, strong finances, and we need YOU to take our technology platform to the next level.

We’re in the process of rebuilding our application to take advantage of all the stuff the cool kids are working with – REST APIs, AngularJS, C#, PHP, etc., etc., etc. We’re taking something that’s wicked cool and making it wicked awesome. We’re a small team, and we’re going to stay that way (at least for the immediate future, so we’re not looking to hire 10 average people — we’re looking for the one exceptional one).

So, what would you do here?

You may have heard of “big data.” That’s not us. But we’re solving a different problem, one that might not have a sexy moniker, but one that’s super important to organizations around the world. We’re solving “wide data.” We’re trying to help organizations stitch together data, analysis, and insight from their varied and disparate data sources.

Skills & Requirements

  • Awesome at Javascript, with good experience building big Angular apps
  • Great at Bootstrap with a strong understanding of CSS and its various gotchas.
  • Proficient in OOP environments using PHP, Java or C#
  • ColdFusion skills a huge plus
  • Knowledge of SQL stored procedures, functions, etc. (even if you’re not an expert)
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and how they work (i.e., status codes)
  • Know what TDD is and why it’s important (and when it’s not)
  • Bonus points for you if you have worked in an Agile environment (or at least know what this is and want to).
