Associate Consultant

Our software focuses on organization wide performance management and management reporting. We help organizations track their measures and projects against their strategic goals. Organizations do this in a variety of ways including using Balanced Scorecards and dashboards. ClearPoint is extremely customizable, and clients reach out with questions about the software as well as about best practices in performance management.

Marketing Associate

This is a perfect position for someone with no more than two years of marketing experience who is looking to help a B2B SaaS company take their marketing to the next level in the Washington, DC, area. We’ve got a solid product, great customers, strong finances, and we need YOU to help take our message to the world.

As a Marketing Associate, you will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to bring in new leads and educate them about our product, eventually handing them off to the sales team as sales qualified leads. You’ll help us manage and execute on our marketing campaigns, analyze the leads we get, and use the data to optimize campaigns going forward. You don’t need to be an expert in design but be ready to contribute to the creation of marketing collaterals.

So, what would you do here?

In this role, you will need to:

  • Get us high quality leads and educate them about our product and company
  • Create, manage and analyze marketing campaigns including email, video, paid and more
  • Help design marketing collaterals including brochures, case studies and offers

Account Executive

This is a perfect position for someone with 2-5 years of sales experience who is looking for their next sales opportunity with a great SaaS company in the Washington, DC, area. We’ve got a solid product, great customers, strong finances, and we need YOU to help take our message to the world. ClearPoint is a mission driven organization and our software and team are the best in the industry. We make management reporting simple and efficient so that our customers can focus on making better decisions.

As an Account Executive, you will benefit from inbound leads as well as research within verticals to find prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify opportunities. You will run online demos of the ClearPoint software and successfully sell the ClearPoint value proposition. We’ll provide you with a great place to work, great teammates, and a generous incentive-based compensation plan.

Target clients will largely consist of — but will not be limited to – municipalities, state agencies, banks, utilities, healthcare organizations, and mid to large sized businesses. This role is an inside sales position working in our Arlington, VA office and could require travel of up to 25%.

Sales Manager

ClearPoint is a fast-growing SaaS company that is changing the way organizations manage strategy. We’ve built a great product, developed strong inbound lead flow, and now we’re looking for someone to take our sales team to the next level. This is a perfect position for someone with 3-5 years of experience managing a sales team, who is now looking for an opportunity to take a leadership role to build a sales organization.

As a Sales Manager, you have the unique opportunity to craft a sales organization that is both responsive and responsible. At ClearPoint, we don’t believe in pushy or intrusive sales tactics – and neither should you. We are looking to add a uniquely qualified individual to build on our already strong AngularJS driven performance management SaaS application. To qualify you’ll need a BA or BS and a few years of front-end development experience (or the equivalent). You’ll need to live and love:

  • Modern Javascript and TypeScript coding and conventions
  • Angular, NodeJS, CSS, and HTML
  • Usage of standard development tools, like Git
  • Understand of how things like promises, callbacks, etc., work
  • How to troubleshoot things like infinite digest loops
  • Ability to set up and manage your development environment (and Docker)

Senior Database Developer

Required Skills and Experience

ClearPoint Strategy facilitates better and more timely business decision-making and execution through software applications. We are looking to add a uniquely qualified individual to build on our already strong Microsoft SQL Server driven performance management SaaS application. You’ll need to live and love Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, index tuning, and doing unexpected things in the database, to thrive here. To qualify you’ll need to have a BA or BS, have 5-10 years of experience developing with SQL Server. This is a developer role, not a DBA role, though you’ll need some DBA skills. You’ll need to live and love:

  • MSSQL stored procedures, functions, indexed views, etc.
  • Using OPENJSON and FOR JSON techniques to cast to/from JSON
  • Index tuning (the tools, techniques, pitfalls, etc.)
  • When to use cursors and when to avoid them
  • How to troubleshoot things like serializable locking and deadlocks
  • How to best monitor and proactively care for SQL Servers

You should also:

  • Understand how REST APIs work
  • Have an interest in building scalable applications

We have a cool application that’s been running on SQL Server since MSSQL 2008. We’re on SQL 2017 and loving it! We consume and produce JSON at the database tier, have complex SQL stored procedures that do all kinds of great stuff, and leverage many cool new features in SQL Server.

We have invested in the suite of Redgate tools, so you’ll have SQL Compare, SQL Source Control, SQL Prompt, etc. at your fingertips. We believe in professional development, so attending SQL PASS, Seattle can happen. We subscribe to Brent Ozar’s SQL ConstantCare and are notified when we mess things up.
